Put a box on your head.
Turn it into something else.
What are we actually doing?
Start with a box. Cut some holes. Add eyes, ears, teeth, horns, hair or whatever else your beast needs. Make it friendly. Or scary. Make something you can't quite explain.
Then put it on your head.
What happens?
Turn up. Get a drink from Good Neighbour. We'll show you enough to get started. Then there'll be cardboard, scissors, tape and other useful bits all over the table.
Make a beast. Wear the beast. Meet the other beasts.
What do I need to know?
Our events are adults only. No skills is required. Being bad at doing it is entirely the point. Everything you'll need will be at the table. Wear something you wont mourn if you get paint or glue on it. Have a question? Ask Lauren: hello@itsaplaything.co.uk
We are currently playing at:
Good Neighbour, Youth House, Carlton Street, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8ER
P.s. Bring those Christmas gift boxes you were planning to recycle. Much more fun use.
Stop acting your age.
Hebden Bridge.
