Well you know how these things happen, somebody enters the race (ooops I mean rally) and then somebody else and so on until one of the entrants is a friend, then what would you do, wish them good luck or enter the race yourself so you can kick their arse??
That’s what we thought.

So we are entered into the race, we have a BMW M3EVO as our mode of transport that we admit probably won't cross the line first, but then our friend has a Mini Cooper S, which will be lucky to cross the line at all!! (Is that the start line?? RM).
But its not the winning but the taking part and looking at the DV of last years event we are in for an experience that will be hard to forget.

This years race will see over 100 cars leave Chelsea football club on the morning of Saturday 18th September and head for Paris via a channel ferry crossing.
Now let me explain that the first car onto the ferry is the first car off, and the order that the cars arrive at the check point in Paris is the order they leave the following morning on the run down to Monte-Carlo which means the first car will have almost a 1hr head start over the last car!! And the organizers insist that this is a rally and not a race. I bet that the drivers of the 100+ cars taking part don’t see it that way!!!

Well win or lose we will have taken part and shared an experience that survives with only a select number of people, but don’t worry as we intend to share our experience with all itsaplaything users.

We will publish a daily diary of the event here in the web site, the car will also be fitted with three video cameras (inside and outside) which will all be edited together into a movie which you will be able to buy from the site, we also hope to be able to post some short movie downloads on the site capturing some of the most exciting action.
